{"id":817,"date":"2012-10-31T18:53:03","date_gmt":"2012-10-31T18:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polonus.sk\/?p=817"},"modified":"2012-10-31T18:53:03","modified_gmt":"2012-10-31T18:53:03","slug":"zaduszki","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ozpolonus.sk\/pl\/zaduszki\/","title":{"rendered":"Zaduszki"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zaduszki<\/strong>\u00a0(also\u00a0<em>dzie\u0144 zaduszny<\/em>) is a\u00a0<a title=\"Poland\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Poland\">Polish<\/a>\u00a0tradition of lighting candles (<em><a title=\"Znicz (page does not exist)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Znicz&#038;action=edit&#038;redlink=1\">znicze<\/a><\/em>) and visiting the graves of the relatives on\u00a0<a title=\"All Souls Day\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/All_Souls_Day\">All Souls Day<\/a>. Its origins can be traced to the times of\u00a0<a title=\"Slavic mythology\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slavic_mythology\">Slavic mythology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The tradition of lighting candles comes from ancient Slavic\u00a0<a title=\"Dziady\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dziady\">Dziady<\/a>\u00a0feast and originally would take place on All Souls&#8216; Day. However, due to later common misunderstandings, it is performed nowadays mainly on\u00a0<a title=\"All Saints Day\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/All_Saints_Day\">All Saints Day<\/a>, but, in that case is not called Zaduszki &#8211; the word\u00a0<em>Zaduszki<\/em>\u00a0originates from\u00a0<em>dzie\u0144 zaduszny<\/em>\u00a0which can be translated as\u00a0<em>the day of the prayer for souls<\/em>, and thus is more closely related to All Souls&#8216; Day.<\/p>\n<p>The first day of November is a holiday in Poland. As many people make journeys to visit the places of burial of their relatives, heavy traffic develops and accident statistics peak. Most commercial activity also ceases.<\/p>\n<p>Streets are filled with silent and solemn crowds, and cemeteries glow with thousands of candles, presenting a unique and picturesque scene.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--:pl--><\/p>\n<p>Obchody Dnia Zadusznego zapocz\u0105tkowa\u0142 w chrze\u015bcija\u0144stwie w roku\u00a0<a title=\"998\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/998\">998<\/a>\u00a0<a title=\"Odylon z Cluny\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Odylon_z_Cluny\">\u015bw. Odilon<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Opat\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Opat\">opat<\/a>\u00a0z\u00a0<a title=\"Cluny\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cluny\">Cluny<\/a>, jako przeciwwag\u0119 dla poga\u0144skich obrz\u0105dk\u00f3w czcz\u0105cych zmar\u0142ych. Na dzie\u0144 mod\u0142\u00f3w za dusze zmar\u0142ych \u2013 st\u0105d nazwa \u201eZaduszki\u201d \u2013 wyznaczy\u0142 pierwszy dzie\u0144 po\u00a0<a title=\"Wszystkich \u015awi\u0119tych\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wszystkich_%C5%9Awi%C4%99tych\">Wszystkich \u015awi\u0119tych<\/a>. W\u00a0<a title=\"XIII wiek\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/XIII_wiek\">XIII wieku<\/a>\u00a0ta tradycja rozpowszechni\u0142a si\u0119 w ca\u0142ym\u00a0<a title=\"Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 katolicki\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ko%C5%9Bci%C3%B3%C5%82_katolicki\">Ko\u015bciele katolickim<\/a>. W\u00a0<a title=\"XIV wiek\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/XIV_wiek\">XIV wieku<\/a>\u00a0zacz\u0119to urz\u0105dza\u0107 procesje na cmentarz do czterech stacji. Przy stacjach odmawiano modlitwy za zmar\u0142ych i \u015bpiewano pie\u015bni \u017ca\u0142obne. Pi\u0105ta stacja odbywa\u0142a si\u0119 ju\u017c w ko\u015bciele, po powrocie procesji z cmentarza.<\/p>\n<p>W Polsce tradycja Dnia Zadusznego zacz\u0119\u0142a si\u0119 tworzy\u0107 ju\u017c w\u00a0<a title=\"XII wiek\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/XII_wiek\">XII wieku<\/a>, a z ko\u0144cem\u00a0<a title=\"XV wiek\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/XV_wiek\">XV wieku<\/a>\u00a0by\u0142a znana w ca\u0142ym kraju.
