Worked in the MFA Consular Department, the Polish Embassy in Helsinki, the Security Policy Department and the Permanent Representation\u00a0 of the Republic of Poland to NATO. In 2004-2005 he was deputy director of the United Nations System Department. In\u00a0 2004-2010 he served as Poland\u2019s Ambassador to Estonia. Upon his return to the MFA, he was director of the United Nations and Human Rights Department. For the last two years (2011-2012), he was director of the Minister\u2019s Office in the MFA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Graduated from Hungarian Studies at Warsaw University and post-graduate studies at the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Warsaw University and the University of Maastricht. Fluent in English, Finnish, Hungarian, French, Russian and Estonian, and increasingly proficient in Slovakian. Decorated with the Silver Cross of Merit and the Estonian Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana 1st class.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Author of academic papers: \u201cFinland\u2019s road to the European Union\u201d, \u201cRussia closer to NATO\u201d\u00a0 and \u201cPoland in the UN\u201d, and articles published in the Polish, Finnish and Estonian press. Przez ostatnie dwa lata (2011-2012) by\u0142 dyrektorem Sekretariatu Ministra w MSZ.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Absolwent filologii w\u0119gierskiej na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, uko\u0144czy\u0142 tak\u017ce studia podyplomowe w Polskim Instytucie Spraw Mi\u0119dzynarodowych, na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim i Uniwersytecie w Maastricht.\u00a0 M\u00f3wi po angielsku, fi\u0144sku, w\u0119giersku, francusku, rosyjsku i esto\u0144sku. Coraz sprawniej pos\u0142uguje si\u0119 s\u0142owackim. Pr\u00e1cu v MZV za\u010dal na konzul\u00e1rnom odbore, nesk\u00f4r pracoval, okrem in\u00e9ho, na Ve\u013evyslanectve PR v Helsink\u00e1ch, v Odbore bezpe\u010dnostnej politiky a St\u00e1lom zast\u00fapen\u00ed PR pri NATO. V rokoch 2004 \u2013 2005 bol z\u00e1stupcom riadite\u013ea Odboru syst\u00e9mu zjednoten\u00fdch n\u00e1rodov. V rokoch 2005-2012 bol ve\u013evyslancom Po\u013eska v Est\u00f3nsku a po n\u00e1vrate riadite\u013eom Odboru zjednoten\u00fdch n\u00e1rodov a pr\u00e1v \u010dloveka. Posledn\u00e9 dva roky (2011 \u2013 2012) bol riadite\u013eom sekretari\u00e1tu ministra na MZV.<\/p>\n<p>Absolvent ma\u010farskej filol\u00f3gie na Var\u0161avskej univerzite, ukon\u010dil aj podiplomov\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium v Po\u013eskom in\u0161tit\u00fate medzin\u00e1rodn\u00fdch vec\u00ed, na Var\u0161avskej univerzite a Univerzite v Maastricht. Hovor\u00ed po anglicky, f\u00ednsky, ma\u010farsky, franc\u00fazsky, rusky a est\u00f3nsky. \u010coraz lep\u0161ie sa dorozumieva po slovensky.
